The dress will be up for auction in a little over 24 hours! If you're in the London area, then maybe you could swing by Christie's (85 Old Brompton Road) during their visiting hours and ogle the dress yourself before it's locked away forever by the lucky owner. And if, like most of us, you're not able to view it or the auction in person, you can always watch the auction live online, but you must make an account with them to watch. Also, there are rumors that Victoria Beckham, former Posh Spice and very vocal Audrey fan, will be present at the bidding and may try to nab the dress for herself. Erm...

(For what it's worth, I still think it's better to just give your money to a charity, rather than buying a cost inflated good that will only give a fraction of the profits to the charity -- usually less than 20% of the price.)
