Clips from "Secret People," even more about Natalie and the B@T dress

Someone uploaded two quick clips of Audrey dancing from one of her early films, The Secret People. It's a very hard movie to find, but I was lucky to know someone with a copy who lent it to me to watch. It's a little strange to see Audrey so young and vivacious, but it gives you an idea of her "coltish" behaviour that's described in Gigi and how she must have bounded onstage "like a gazelle." Anyway, it's also really nice to see her ballet dancing captured on film, since she so wanted to be a ballerina. The first clip is of her auditioning for a solo piece at a party, and the second is her dancing later on in the film while her sister secretly watches.

And I'm getting a little tired of hearing on this (let alone reporting it), but literally the only news coming in lately is about Natalie Portman and that Breakfast at Tiffany's dress. This article again says that it was one of three made for the film, and I still say that it wasn't the dress she wore in the opening scene, since that dress wasn't satin or even of a satin sheen, and didn't have slits (you'll notice later on when she's wearing the dress again and trying to escape a drunken date via the bathroom window that the dress has no slits whatsoever), but that's just me. Anyway, this article says that you could own this dress, and that the proceeds go to charity, blah blah blah. I find it vastly entertaining that they try to make this iconic dress attainable, as if everyone had $130,000 laying about and no better way to spend it.

Lastly, the dress itself is supposed to be on display at Christie's in New York for one week. Has anyone been to see it, or is anyone going to see it? Is anyone going to bother taking pictures? I'm a little too busy to fly out for that, and their website doesn't offer any information or pictures.

P.S. I've added a sitemap to the index page of the site, if the navigation was confusing to you at all.
