Keats or Shelley?

The next picture gallery is a little delayed (mainly because work was especially harsh today and I'm knackered out), but I also kept getting distracted yesterday while working on it. In Roman Holiday, Anne/Anya and Joe debate whether two poems Anne recites are by John Keats or Percy Bysshe Shelley. I know people still wonder who wrote what even now, and the Internet has surprisingly little information that I could find. But I did find the origins of Anne's second recitation, which is called "Arethusa." And it's by Shelley, so Joe won that round. ;) The first stanza follows:

Arethusa arose
From her couch of snows
In the Acroceraunian mountains,---
From cloud and from crag,
With many a jag,
Shepherding her bright fountains.
She leapt down the rocks,
With her rainbow locks
Streaming among the streams;---
Her steps paved with green
The downward ravine
Which slopes to the western gleams;
And gliding and springing
She went, ever singing,
In murmurs as soft as sleep;
The Earth seemed to love her,
And Heaven smiled above her,
As she lingered towards the deep.

The rest of the poem can be found here, if you're interested. I still couldn't find the first poem she recites, which goes (in part), "If I were dead and buried and I heard your voice, beneath this sod my heart of dust would still rejoice." Does anyone know which poet penned this one? Even better, does anyone have a full copy of the poem?

Next up is yet another review of The Audrey Hepburn Treasures, which you can find here, about halfway down the page (under Gap's Skinny). I'm mainly posting it because I love the bizarre title of the article: From Imelda Marcos to Audrey Hepburn. The first half of the article talks about a new Imelda Marcos line of fashion accessories put out by her daughter. Weird.

Okay. The new gallery will hopefully be up tomorrow night. Thanks for waiting!

if it belonged to either, I am sure there would have been some mention of it on the net

was wondering, if you have a video of Audrey from RH reciting these lines...

Thanks for that! It'll go in today's update. I wonder why that didn't turn up in my searches . . . that's what I get for working half-asleep.

As for video, I'll get one up soon. I was thinking I'd put up the goodies, like all of her songs, etc., then let people suggest what they want to see and add those as well. I don't want to take up bandwidth with stuff people don't want to see.

As the anonymous said, it was by Dalton Trumbo, who was given full credit for his work on the screenplay of Roman Holiday by the Writers Guild of America,sixty years after the fact.
