celebrate spring with the Audrey Hepburn rose!

Spring officially starts on March 21, and what better way to celebrate it than by growing some Audrey Hepburn tea roses? I stumbled across an online nursery that actually carries the roses, and at a very reasonable price. If I had any more room for a rose bush, I would be ordering these right this second! The photos of the roses are beautiful as well, so even if you're without a garden right now or just can't manage the roses at this time, you can at least sigh over the lovely pictures.

As a bonus, here's a fun little piece of Audrey trivia that the San Mateo Daily Journal ran today: Audrey Hepburn always ate a sour apple after dinner as her dessert. Doesn't that sound good? Apples are plentiful right now, and I highly recommend a Pink Lady as a dessert apple.
